Wow! We now have had the MOST Litter Bit Better (LBB) registrations since the program started in 2007! Way to go, Rochester volunteers! LBB pickup is April 27-May 5. Green trash and blue recycling bags are available for pick up at the Government Center, near the City Hall Rotunda entrance, and at the Development Services & Infrastructure Center; bags are located at the non-police entrance outside next to the fish sculpture. Pictured is 12th Street Dental staff, who celebrated Earth Day yesterday, getting an early start on LBB!

Earth Day spurs Rochester to clean up its environmental act
A series of events in the coming weeks will clean and green up the city.
We're excited to introduce you to Dan. This Rochester-ite has not adopted 1 or 2 Litter Bit Better sites...but 49 separate pick-up sites! He was interviewed by KMIT Channel 3 this week. IF you haven't yet registered for a site to pick up, don't worry. There are still sites left. City of Rochester, MN Government Olmsted County Environmental Resources

Woo-hoo for the John Marshall High School (Minnesota) Neighborhood Ambassadors for a wildly successful mural panel painting! Their hard work paid off with amazing participation on this lovely spring day. The artist will now combine these panels into a final product that will be posted on the school in fall. This is the first of the RNeighbors Neighborhood Project grants of the season.
