The Rochester Issues Form will sponsor a presentation and facilitated small group discussions on the issue of the Rochester sales tax expansion. A referendum to authorize extension of the current 1/2 cent sales tax will be on the ballot in the November election. Proponents and opponents will be given time to outline their reasons for support or opposition. Then it’s your turn in a small group format. 2012 Fall RNeighborWoods Tree Grant

Photo: On April 21, the RNeighborWoods team helped both the Historic SW and the Folwell neighborhoods plant 25 trees each, as part of their Neighborhood Tree Grant. Trees make good neighbors. Since its creation in 2004, RNeighborWoods has organized 3,816 volunteers to plant 4,805 trees on Rochester boulevards. These trees provide multiple ecological and other public benefits including reducing Rochester’s carbon footprint.
