2017 Spring Neighborhood Tree Grant Available

Photo: The Kutzky Park Neighborhood Association received our 2016 fall tree grant. Thanks to RNeighborWoods partners Rochester Park & Recreation and Maier Tree & Lawn, as well as all of the fabulous neighbors (a few pictured here) who came out to help green up their streets. Trees make good neighbors. Since its creation in 2004, RNeighborWoods has organized 6,037 volunteers to plant 6,755 trees on Rochester boulevards. 2017 RNeighbors Neighborhood Grants

What is the Neighborhood Project Grant? These grants reimburse up to $1,000 in costs for neighborhoods to complete projects that enhance a neighborhood’s livability and involvement, benefit the entire neighborhood and promote a strong sense of community. We encourage you to be creative. These non-revenue producing projects can include, but are not limited to, identification signage, butterfly & rain gardens, native plantscaping and public art projects.
