Rochester Nonprofit Consortium

Members since: 2022

Fifty three member organizations have come together to vision a future where nonprofits, government and private business communicate and collaborate in order to improve the lives of Olmsted County residents.

RNeighbors is one of over 60 different organizations in Rochester who have signed the Nonprofit Consortium’s Commitment to Action towards Racial Justice. This document was developed with input from dozens of local organizations who commit to work toward justice and racial equity, both as individual organizations and collectively.

Mission

To create a more efficient, effective and collaborative nonprofit sector in order to maximize our impact for the Olmsted County community.

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits

Members since: 2005

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) was founded in 1987 to meet the increasing information needs of nonprofits and to convene nonprofits to address issues facing the sector. MCN is the statewide association of more than 1,750 member nonprofit organizations. Through its Web site, resource publications, workshops and events, cost-saving programs and advocacy, MCN continually works to inform, promote, connect and strengthen individual nonprofits and the nonprofit sector.

The Arbor Day Foundation’s Alliance for Community Trees network is composed of community-based organizations dedicated to planting and caring for trees. These passionate nonprofits are the boots on the ground — the purest and best definition of grass roots. Their hands are in the dirt; their impact is undeniable. And as a unified force, they are changing towns and cities across the country.

To support grassroots, citizen-based nonprofit organizations dedicated to urban and community tree planting, care, conservation, and education.

Members since: 2001

Neighborhoods, USA is a national non-profit organization committed to building and strengthening neighborhood organizations. Created in 1975 to share information and experiences toward building stronger communities, NUSA now continues to encourage networking and information sharing to facilitate the development of partnerships between neighborhood organizations, government and the private sector.

Mission
The organizational mission of NUSA has, since its inception, been to build and strengthen neighborhood associations and to promote productive communications and collaborations among those associations with both the public and private sectors.
