Invite a City staff member to an upcoming Neighborhood Association meeting. Complete the attached form and return completed form to Barb Huberty at 201 4th Street SE, Room 108, Rochester, MN 55904 or via email and she will contact you to confirm the availability of a speaker.
Go beyond learning and take action for cleaner water.
Individually or with others, you can make a difference by doing one of the following activities: placing door hangers in your neighborhood to educate neighbors about clean water, hosting a raingarden party to develop interest in gardening for water quality, collecting litter in an adopted area, marking storm drains, or monitoring a nearby lake or stream.

A friendly reminder to you and your neighbors why you should help keep your sidewalks, driveways and streets free of yard waste and dirt.
- Door Hanging – Pet Waste
Educate and encourage your neighbors and friends to pick up after their pets.
- Host a Raingarden Party – Activity Guide
Residential raingardens are designed to collect storm water from an owner’s roof, sidewalk or driveway. You can help others learn about the value of raingardens by hosting a “Raingarden Party” at your home, either led by you or a volunteer trainer.
- Litter Collection
Are you willing to do an activity alone or with someone? Do something that matters and pick up litter at an adopted location.
