The 2010 Think Green Fair took place on Saturday, June 26th at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds, Graham Park.  Families, friends and neighbors came out to the fair this year to learn how to green-up their homes, workplaces and schools!  Nearly 1,000 people were in attendance at the fair to learn about local food, eco-friendly home and garden products, energy efficiency & renewable energy, green building & design, water conservation, waste reduction, health and wellness and green certification.  The local community enjoyed the 2-story earth balloon, green face-painting, kite-flying, crafts, free raffle and musical entertainment!

Almost 70 green businesses, government agencies, local non-profit organizations , artisans, and food vendors shared their expertise with the public at our green expo.  Fair attendees also had the opportunity to attend  presentations throughout the day.  The day started off with a variety of presentations from local experts in the areas of green building, raingardens, composting and renewable energy and ended with live animal programs by the National Eagle Center and Oxbow Park.  Look ahead to next year by visiting the RNeighbors website frequently to hear about plans for the 2011 Think Green Fair!
