Sessions
Dr. Smiley’s sessions will examine his new research about important tree risk information. This information is vital to the modern arborist – it pertains to anyone that removes, prunes, consults and climbs trees. Dr. Smiley has been a leader in arboricultural research for decades and these lectures are what arborists and foresters should not miss!

Dr. Kane’s sessions will look at the application of risk assessment. This is where the rubber of research meets the road of real life. Dr. Kane has first-hand knowledge of tree climbing and can help the arborist and urban forester understand the risks associated with working in trees as well as their likelihood to fail in storms.
