Fall 2017 RNeighborWoods Community Tree Planting

Rochester’s urban forest needs your help to plant some trees in the Viking Hills Park NE Rochester neighborhood. On Oct. 14 we’ll be planting 200 trees on the bouvlards of Tundra Lane, Heritage Place, Heartland Ave, and Ashland Lane NW. Tree types to be planted include Sugar and Red Maples, Ohio Buckeye, Service berry, Catalpa, Hackberry, Hawthorn, Gingko, Honey Locust , Kentucky Coffee, Ironwood, Pin and Bur Oak, American Linden and Hybrid elm. Appropriate shorter trees will be planted under power lines….
