2020 RNeighbors Neighborhood Project Grants

2020 RNeighbors Neighborhood Project Grants

Updated – The Neighborhood Project Grant deadlines for the application submission and grant completion are both backed up by one month due to the COVID-19 virus. The new grant application date is Monday, April 27, at 5 pm, notification of awards will be Monday, May 4, and the new grant completion date is Monday, November 30, 2020. Different from the past, due to the current situation, we’ll be assessing project applications as they come in. So if you have a project that you want to start sooner than May 4, submit your application earlier. Please be safe, working virtually with your neighborhood through email, facetime, Google Hangouts, or Skype to complete the application.

  • Enhance a neighborhood’s livability and involvement
  • Benefit the entire neighborhood
  • Promote a strong sense of community.

Be creative. These non-revenue producing projects can include, but are not limited to, identification signage, bike racks, mini libraries or food pantries, pocket park improvements, physical activity opportunities, butterfly & rain gardens, native plantscaping and public art projects.

Total Neighborhood Project Grant Funding

  • $8,000 for general neighborhood grants

You can check out results from the 2019 grants here and a short video that includes some of the 2019 grants here.
