Litter is waste that is out of place.  It may be either man-made or natural materials. If outside a proper receptacle, items such as paper, plastic, glass, metal, building materials, discarded food, cigarette and cigar butts and rubber scraps are litter. 2011 Spring RNeighborWoods Tree Grant

  2010 Fall Tree Grant winners Homestead neighbors worked together on a gorgeous fall day to plant 20 trees and add leafy trees to their historic neighborhood boulevards. Trees make good neighbors. Since its creation in 2004, RNeighborWoods has organized 2,285 volunteers to plant 2,360 trees on Rochester boulevards. These trees provide multiple ecological and other public benefits including reducing Rochester’s carbon footprint.
