Now Accepting Realize Raingardens Rochester Cost-Share Grant Applications!

Are you looking for a way to help keep Rochester’s water resources clean? Consider installing a raingarden in 2013! Raingardens are designed to treat storm water before it runs off pollutant-laden landscapes into area waterways. The native plants used in raingardens provide year-round interest, are drought resistant, and require less maintenance than a traditional turf lawn once established. Residential storm water utility customers in Rochester are eligible to apply for Realize Raingardens Rochester cost-share grant funding to assist in the creation and installation of a raingarden on their property. See the attached document or visit www.rochesterstormwater.com for more details about the grant application and requirements.
