The Rochester Energy Commission is hosting a forum on the potential and practicality for solar energy generation in Rochester. This is the first of a series of Energy Commission forums on energy.
 Speaker
Brian will speak on the feasibility, advantages, and payoff of solar energy in our northern climate, followed by a panel of local experts, including:

Panel (moderated discussion by Jill Mickelson, Rochester Energy Commission Chair)
  • Curt Shellum, Solar Connection, Inc.
  • Liam Hathaway, Minnesota Student Energy Project (and Rochester Energy Commission)
  • TBA, Rochester Public Utilities
  • Jill Mickelson, Rochester Energy Commission Chair, will moderate the discussion.
 Come learn how solar energy use can fit into an overall energy strategy, how it can contribute to our local economy, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and why Rochester is a good place to do this.
