At the fall 2008 RNeighborWoods planting this group of tree enthusiasts included many neighborhood kids and was led by a newly certified Citizen Forester.   Currently there are 29,088 vacant boulevard tree spaces throughout Rochester neighborhoods, out of a total of 98,475 spaces. Trees make good neighbors. Join us on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at 9 am, for a community boulevard tree planting in the south east Rochester Homestead Park – 8 ½ Street neighborhood. Since 2006, the RNeighborWoods group has planted 200 seedlings and 718 ball-in-burlap trees in Rochester. This fall, we received tree funds from the City of Rochester and RPU.
